Hi, I’m back. I guess Covid and lockdown sapped my urge to blog. Well we are still in lockdown but I want to get this moving again.
It’s been a bit more than a year since I last posted. As soon as my gaming groups no longer felt comfortable visiting each other’s flats we moved my games online to Roll20 and within a couple of weeks we had started another weekly session. Suddenly everyone had plenty of free time and exploring the Jungles of Chult or the Misty Isles of the Eld in our heads felt a little like we had gone somewhere. By the end of 2020 we had wrapped up my Whitehack Epic, played some Coriolis and Troika and I had convinced my oldest friend to run some games for us. 2020 sucked, no question, but we did get a lot of gaming done.
And that has built up a lot of stuff I want to write about. I haven’t forgotten about my Fighting Fantasy inspired tabletop game, so if you are holding out for that, please hold out a little longer. I have another minimal RPG to share with you all too, this one is intended for cons and very short campaigns. I’m also thinking of writing a series of posts about the aforementioned epic Whitehack campaign. It had two apocalypses and ran for over two years so I must have been doing something right.
